Marjorie Davis, Greer Nurse, Dead
     
OROFINO - Mrs. Marjorie Phyllis Davis, 37, Greer nurse, died in her sleep of a heart attack Friday night at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Whitney of Greer.
     
Mrs. Davis was a nurse for 20 years and the widow of Lloyd C. Davis.
     
She was born May 22, 1918, at Missoula, and lived with her parents there until 1922, when the family moved to Long Beach, Calif. They moved to Hawthorne, Nev. four years later and back to Montana in 1934.
     
She entered nurses training at Colfax in 1936 and graduated in 1940. She was a nurse at the Colfax Hospital after graduation until she moved to Kamiah in 1948.
     
She was married to Lloyd C. Davis at Colfax, April 1, 1939. The couple moved to Athol, Idaho, in 1951. Mrs. Davis returned to Greer after her husband's death.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church.
     
Survivors include her parents, one son, Leonard L. Davis of Greer; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Davis of California and Mrs. Ruth Bird of Orofino.
     
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Orofino Methodist Church, with the Rev. L. Marshall Campbell officiating. Committal services and burial will be held at 2:30 p. m. at the Colfax Cemetery. Gilbert's Chapel here is in charge.
